TSO Tip

Small-bore 85cc cranks spin at exceptionally high RPMs, making accurate truing critical. Always check total indicated runout (TIR) on V-blocks with a dial indicator—keep it under 0.03mm before installing the assembly back into the cases. Generously pre-lubricate the lower rod bearing with clean two-stroke premix oil during assembly to prevent any dry-start scuffing on initial fire-up.
