Fitment Note: The Upgrade You Need

Fits: Kawasaki KX500 (1983–2004)

ATTENTION 1983-1993 OWNERS: We engineered this shaft using the beefier, heavy-duty splines found on the later model KX500s. The early model (pre-94) splines were a weak point we refused to replicate.

  • If you have a 1983-1993 bike: You MUST upgrade to a 1994-2004 shift lever to match this shaft. Do not try to force your old lever on; upgrade to the stronger modern standard and never look back.
